Sovereign Harbour Community - A Window to the World

In the heart of every new living community - is its residents, the people who built a home next to neighbours and friends.

They come in all shapes and sizes, different background and beleives - bringing with the hope and prosperity for next generation to come.

On the other hand, dying communities, sad as it may, leaves behind ghost towns/villages and to those who stay behind, memories of forgotten days.

In this world, no matter where you live, history repeat itself.

With its each passing generation, new one born along the way and the circle of life go on forever.

Sovereign Harbour in the suburb of Eastbourne, East Sussex in the UK - is a New Community with no exception.

It rose from nothing in the last few years from centries of deserted pebble/shingle beaches to landfills where all the rubbish from Eastbourne and the surrounding area burried beneath its feet to now beeing transformed overnight into a Community of nearly 10,000 people who are housed in nearly 3700 dwellings.

It is an absolute miracle that this community rose from nowhere without a thought from the early planners to buid and accomodate  a social infrastructure the like of a Big enough Community Centre, a public library, playing ground for the children,  nor schools not even a Church to Pray,

Our elected Councillors come and go and the Political Wind shift from promises when it come nearer to elections to complete ignorance to the ply of the residents of Sovereign Harbour.

We need more than miracle to see the light for the nearly 10,000 residents - lets hope miracles do happen !!
